HYUNDAI SONATA v HONDA ACCORD - Fuel Efficiency

SONATA PIPS ACCORD BUT ONLY JUST
There's not much to choose between the two but the Sonata pips the Accord by a scant and inconsequential margin. But win it does, and that says a lot about the efficiency of the Hyundai motor. In town, the Sonata returns a decent 7.4kpl to the Accord's 7.1kpl and has an edge thanks to its torquey motor. On the highway, it's practically a draw with the Accord returning 10.3kpl to the Sonata's 10.4. The Sonata has a marginally larger fuel tank which gives it a longer range.
