these cars do an able job of stretching a litre of the sticky fuel.
The Indica gave us a superb 12.9kpl in the city and its taller gearing
(compared to the non-turbo car) helped return an even better 17.0kpl
on the highway.
The Palio’s extra 90 kilos and its larger engine make it thirstier
than the Indica, but both city and highway figures were a respectable
12.6kpl and 15.7kpl, respectively.
