those efficiency enhancements do tell!
With all those
efficiency enhancing features onboard it is normal to expect frugal
efficiency figures. The manual mode brings out the worst in the car.
In the city with the A/C switched on the worst efficiency figure was
6.6kmpl, the best being 11.3kmpl on the highway. Shift to the auto
mode and the entire character goes through a sea change with the city
figure shooting up to 9.4kmpl and the highway figure to 13.88kmpl.
With an overall10.52kmpl and a 50-litre tank this gives the big new
Lancer a range of around 530km..
