Tester's Notes: Good rugged looks appeal to a wide cross section of people • Surfeit of lights turning out to be very helpful during the monsoons • Increased ground clearance a boon on Indian roads • Huge luggage space with minimal intrusion of suspension componentry or wheel arches • All weather 175/80 R14 Pirellis are excellent especially in the wet • Interiors, instrumentation etc is the same as that on the Sienas • The engine now runs the wheels through better suited gear ratios which afford better driveability • The engine is the same 1596cc 24-valve unit that does duty on the Palio 1.6 as well as on the Siena 1.6 • Remote central locking on the Adventure we road-tested was a boon even though there is only button to lock as well as to unlock the car.
