I would have expected the performance to be on par with the Siena 1.6 but the Adventure is not only nearly 100kg heavier than the sedan but is also heavier than the Siena Weekend. That combined with the larger 170/80 R14 tyres and the different gearing does reduce the performance potential of the vehicle somewhat.

In actual figures, that somewhat turns out to be a 0 to 60kmph time of 5.68s, 0.38s slower than the Siena 1.6 and a 0 to 100kmph time of 14.25s, a full 1.15s slower than that of the 1.6 sedan.

Top speed is also slightly lower at 170.3kmph.
