A tough shell, plush inside!

To go with the rugged look of the Adventure are all the goodies that Fiat India could think of putting in. Starting with remote operated central locking, power windows all round, rear windshield washer, wiper and defroster, electrically adjustable door mirrors, a Kenwood music system with six speakers, a parcel shelf to cover the luggage area and a digital clock.

Despite the increased wheelbase, there is not a substantial increase in space for the rear passengers. The rear seat-back is also a bit straightish and prevents rear seat passengers from lying back as they are used to in most other Indian cars. But the best part of the Adventure is a surfeit of space at the rear - for luggage if you so please. There is 460 litres of luggage space under the rear parcel shelf. The first step to increase it is to remove the parcel shelf and load it up to the roof. And if even that is not enough, the rear seat can be folded to liberate a total of 1540 litres of storage space. And then there are the roof rails on top of which a luggage carrier can be attached in split seconds.
