We knew that the M-class would attract a lot of attention, its price notwithstanding. With 40 confirmed orders and import duties on CBUs expected to come down in the future, the ML320 will be doing good numbers, that is for sure. It might not have the striking looks of some of the others, but its on-road capabilities (if only 10 per cent of M-classes ever venture off-road worldwide, that number can safely be assumed to be much smaller in India), the space and comfort and large wheels which glide over the bad Indian roads will see it appealing to a large number. And then there are the safety aspects in which this vehicle is second to none. Lastly there is the three-pointed star which you can't put a value to. The M-class might soon be the most aspired for vehicle in India!
