Interiors : Below par

Step into the Esteem and you know that this car was designed a decade ago. The quality of the plastics is below par and we have grown out of the age of sliding air-con switches. Even the interiors of the Zen are more contemporary and upmarket. Equipment levels on our top-of-the-line Di variant consisted of a tachometer, air-con and front power windows. No stereo, no rear power windows, no defogger, not even central locking.

The Esteem is also a very cramped car and most of our B-segment hatches have more interior room. The front seats on the other hand are very comfortable with good side and under thigh support.
