1) Controls of the Vehicle 2)Booking Procedures 3)Booking Form

Zen AX- Easy Drive : Booking procedures

1. All MUL dealers have been provided with a special chart, that specifies the type of variants available. Please consult it before giving your option for a model that best suits your needs & lifestyle. This chart (9 variants) is shown on the first page i.e. Controls of the Vehicle .

2. You now have two choices.
(a) In case, you do not wish to go through the process of getting excise concession, you can simply order for a vehicle at full excise duty. For this, you will have to give an undertaking to the Dealer that you do not wish to go through the procedure of receiving excise rebate and you are ready to take the vehicle at full excise duty. The dealer will then send the order along with the undertaking to MUL along with full payment and the vehicle will be dispatched to the dealer.
(b) However in case you wish to avail of the excise concession, you have to go through the procedure as outlined below.

3. You will first need to obtain a Medical Certificate from a Government Hospital as per Annexure-I.

4. You will then be required to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000 with the Dealer by means of a DD in favour of the Dealer and receive a money receipt from the Dealer.

5. Thereafter, you will need to apply for a Manufacturer Certificate to be issued to you by MUL. For this purpose, you will have to send a request in writing to MUL at the following address (given below), enclosing the Original Medical Certificate, photocopy of money receipt and the photograph showing the area of disability .
The, Deputy General Manager (Customer Relationship Management)
    Maruti Udyog Limited,
    11th Floor, Jeevan Prakash Building,
    25, Kasturba Gandhi Marg,
    New Delhi. - 110 001

6. The Medical Certificate and other documents will be studied by a panel at MUL and based on the recommendation of the panel, our Customer Relationship Management Cell will be sending the Manufacturer Certificate directly to you. However, the mere issuance of Manufacturer Certificate does not, in any way, create any kind of contractual obligation of MUL.

7. Based on this certificate you now have to obtain a Certificate from the Ministry of Industry by submitting the following documents to:
    The Under Secretary (AEI Division)
Room No.356-A, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion
Ministry of Industry, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi-110011.
    Tel. No. 3014148 or 3010221/2292
The documents to be submitted are:
(a) The Medical Certificate from the Medical Officer of a Government Hospital, as outlined in point No. 3 above.
(b) The affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10 duly notarised, that you have not availed of this concession in the last 5 years and that you will not dispose of the car after purchase for a period of 5 years.

8. After receiving the certificate from the Ministry of Industry, you will now be required to pay FOR price of the vehicle minus Rs.25,000 which has been paid earlier to the Dealer, by means of a Demand Draft. You are required to pay the difference in Ex-Showroom and the FOR price at the time of delivery of the vehicle, to the Dealer. Also the following documents will have to be given by you to the Dealer:
(a)
The original certificate obtained from the ministry of industry.
(b) A copy of the Manufacturers' Certificate, which will indicate the type of vehicle suited for the
customer's disability.
(c) Indemnity Bond as specified in Annexure-II
(d) Last year's Income Tax assessment certificate (tax return copy/Form 16)
(e) Photocopy of Driving License

9. The dealer will then accept your booking after verifying the Certificate from the Ministry of Industry and ensuring that the variant booked is as per the Manufacturer Certificate.

10. The dealer will then book the vehicle with MUL.

Production and Dispatch:
The Production of these vehicles will be taken up based on the orders received. The expected waiting period for each variant would be communicated to the dealers on a weekly basis. You may please check with our dealers to get information on the waiting period and prices of each variant. MUL reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the said scheme anytime without any prior notice. In case of any clarifications on the above, you may kindly contact our Deputy General Manager (Customer Relationship Management) at the address given in the point No 5 above
