The all-new Swift has better styling, impact safety, driving performance, handling, improved fuel consumption and significantly lower emissions.

Also higher strength steel makes the new bodyshell lighter and stiffer than before as well as offering refinement in underbody design. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift is built on an all new platform that is longer and larger than the older platform, thus resulting in a bigger car overall.

The new interiors include a CD player, USB port connectivity, steering mounted controls and an in dash multi information display (MID), all presenting an up market feel.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift LXi/LDi features,

Adding on to the above features, the VXi/VDi features,
Electric ORVMS with Indicators, Keyless Entry with Security alarm, chrome door cabin side handles, power windows all around, central locking, fog lamps both at front and rear, body colored ORVMs, body colored door handles, wheel caps, day night in-cabin mirror.

Adding on to the above features, the ZXi/ZDi features,
Height-adjustable driver seat, integrated turn indicators on ORVMs, rear wiper washer and defogger, Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, Steering wheel controls, Integrated Audio system, Auto AC, 15 inch alloys, six speaker audio with four speakers and two tweeters.

The new Maruti Swift petrol variant adorns a 1.2 liter K-series engine with VVT which delivers a torque of 114 Nm @ 4000 rpm and power of 87 ps @ 6000 rpm.
The diesel variant on the other hand is powered with the award winning 1.3 litre DDiS engine that delivers 190 Nm of torque @2000 rpm and 75 ps power @ 4000 rpm.

Fuel efficiency is improved with the petrol variant offering 18.6 kmpl and the diesel variant offering a mileage of 22.9 kmpl.

While the petrol variants are priced between Rs.4.79 lakh and Rs.6.54 lakh, the diesel versions come with price tags ranging from Rs.5.80 lakh to Rs.7.09 lakh.
