It’s almost been a year with the Swift Dzire in the OverDrive fleet and the Dzire has proved to be an effortless, comfortable almost plush car to be driven around. The obvious reason umber one is the engine – it’s powerful and frugal. Secondly Maruti has softened the rear suspension on the Dzire compared to the Swift. Thus comfort has upped considerably. Thirdly records show that this is the first Maruti that has never developed any minor, niggling problems at all.
OverDriver’s (April ’09) have enjoyed their fling with the Dzire and the car has repeatedly demonstrated its abilities to make one smile – around corners, down the straights and at the fuel pump. They will surely miss it.
