| Indiacar's answer : Srikant, one good economical diesel sedan vehicle I would recommend is the Mahindra Logan in your price Range. Alternatively you have the Hyundai Verna. The Getz diesel is a good car, but the cost is comparatively high for a hatch back. |

| radhika question : i have a salary of abt 25,000 /- per month, i am planning to buy a car. my job expets me to travel a lot in a day, so firstly iam thinknig of a deisel car, which will save in my fuel. i already had an indica turbo previously, which i sold off, so now i dont want to buy that one, nut more interested in i10 ( diesel), if it comes, or a getz, in smaller segment, iam confused , which car should i buy, as my budget is ard 4 lac or may a little more. kindly advise me which is the best economical car and which will give a good mileage as well.

| Indiacar's answer : Radhika, The i10 would be a better vehicle for you considering the city traffic conditions. However, it is not available in the diesel version. You could have a CNG or a LPG kit installed to it for better fuel economy. The other alternative could be a Swift diesel in the small car segment, you might have to stretch your budget. |
