| Dr. Pasricha Answers : You can definitely buy a car in Delhi and drive it in Mumbai but after complying to certain rules and regulations.You will have to pay certain taxes like the Maharashtra Entry Tax,Octroi as applicable and BMC tax as applicable .If your vehicle is more than 15 months old you need not pay any of the above expect for some of the essential payments like the Entry Tax and the BMC tax.Kindly co-ordinate with your local RTO for more details. |
