| LUCKY ALI question : Hello Sir,
I want to buy a small car. My daily travel is about 50 KM. I would prefer to save on fuel, maintenance. Would CNG be ideal for me.
Please suggest. |
| Indiacar's answer : Lucky, For your kind of running you should either opt for a Diesel car or a vehicle fitted with CNG. You need to consider one aspect of CNG cars is that it is only available in Metros & major cities. | SWAMYNATHAN question : I recently picked up a Civic AT from a friend. Earlier I was driving a City MT. While, I find the comfort & luxury is definitely better, the Petrol seems to be burning off much much quicker. I am really worried whether I made a big blunder. Pls suggest & clarify. Regards, Swamy |
| Indiacar's answer : Swamy, The Civic as it is, has a lower fuel economy compared to the city, in addition it is a AT.. additionala 10-15% lower fuel economy compared to the MT. None the less, please keep in mind you are getting that additional comfort of the AT in congested traffic conditions. Once accustomed you will be happy you have opted for a AT. To take care of the fuel cost's you could install a CNG kit which will reduce your recurring fuel expenses by almost 60-65% |

| SWAMYNATHAN question : Hey, I need to change my Civic Car Tyres. Pls suggest whether I can go for Michelin or Yokohoma tyres or stick to Bridgstone as original. Also, it is advisable to go for one size up 205.. I want a smooth ride without compromising on mileage. Regards, Swamy |
| Indiacar's answer : Swaminathan, the comfort delivered by the tyre will depend on the aspect ratio. If you have a higher aspect ratio then you will have a softer ride, but will compensate for the road grip and vice-versa. Bridgestone service is widely available and i would recommend a Bridgestone, However, the performance of the Michelin is better compared to Bridgestone |
